Flotmat Model 1/8 – Concrete Reclaimer for Precast Concrete Plants

Reuse 100% of your reclaimed aggregates, saving you money on materials and waste disposal. The FLOTMAT concrete reclaimer is the most modern, advanced reclaimer on the market with capacities of 1, 2, 4 and 8m³ per hour, specially adapted for precast concrete industry.

Together with auxiliary equipment, the FLOTMAT is used to separate waste green concrete into reusable components, sand, aggregate and water. Waste or rejected concrete can be delivered to the FLOTMAT by truck mixers, concrete pumps, cleaning hoppers or other suitable skips. The machine separates the coarse particles (aggregates and sand 0.2 – 32 mm) from the fines, which flow out of the FLOTMAT together with the wash water as grey water (mixture of water, cement and fine particles below 0.2 mm). The separated aggregates are very dry on output due to a unique low wear and maintenance vibration chute being used instead of a traditional screw conveyor.

A highly configurable SPS control system operates the plant automatically.

With over 50 years of business presence, continual investment in innovation and more than one thousand installations worldwide, this gives MCT Italy the experience and know-how to offer the best solutions in concrete technology.

Flotmat Model 8/25 – Concrete Reclaimer for Ready-mix Concrete Plants

Reuse 100% of your reclaimed aggregates, saving you money on materials and waste disposal. The FLOTMAT concrete reclaimer is one of the most modern, robust reclaimers on the market with processing capacities of 8, 15, 20 or 25m³ per hour, specially developed for ready-mix concrete and mortar producers.

The FLOTMAT is used to separate waste green concrete into reusable components. Waste or rejected concrete can be delivered to the FLOTMAT by truck mixers, concrete pumps, cleaning hoppers or other suitable skips. The machine separates the coarse particles (aggregates 0.2 – 32 mm) from the fines, which flow out of the FLOTMAT together with the wash water as grey water (mixture of water, cement and fine particles below 0.2 mm). Using a vibrating chute instead of a traditional screw conveyor achieves a dry sand and aggregate output that can be reused to make fresh concrete.

A highly configurable SPS control system operates the plant automatically.

Supplementary equipment such as pumps, agitators, level and density sensors can be added to the system according to the specific process requirements.

ECOPRESS – Filter Press for Slurry Compacting

The versatile and cost-efficient ECOPRESS filter press removes all fine particles from concrete grey water as well as fines from sawing, grinding and polishing. A fully automatic machine with short cycle times, the ECOPRESS is designed for 6 to 40 filter plates (maximum) and can be equipped with different size filter plates including 470mm, 640mm and 800mm.

The resulting filter cake is very dry due to a unique filter cloth design, which fits extremely tight over the plates, allowing for higher pressures. The use of a filter press reduces the weight of the waste material and in turn the cost for transport and disposal to landfill, if required.

Subject to the site and application, the ECOPRESS can be mounted in a 20ft container with various features, such as heating, windows and insulation. For small quantities of grey water, the ECON dewatering container is recommended.

AQUACLEAN – Water Treatment System for Clarifying Grey Water

In the concrete industry slurry results from waste concrete, washing out of elements as well as sawing, grinding and polishing. Slurry is produced in sand washing plants as a by-product from the sand processing.

The plant is designed following the analysis of layout data. The amount of wash water, solids content and components are determined. Generally, a pre-separation of the solids (aggregates 0.2 – 32 mm) is highly recommended by utilizing a FLOTMAT Concrete Recycling system. This ensures that only fines (cement, fines < 0,2mm) or colour pigments are transported into the water treatment system.

In the AQUACLEAN silo, the grey water is processed with fine solids separated from the water via the use of a flocculant. The resulting clear water can be returned to production.

The concentrated slurry can be discharged from the silo and pumped directly into the ECOPRESS filter system, which transforms it into highly dewatered filter cakes.

AQUACLEAN water treatment solution can help recycle 100% of your process water, complete with pH-treatment and further process steps.
